Djing and producing on an international level, UK based Buckley is known for his quality underground sets that span across all things house. A long-standing resident at legendary northern club Back2Basics in Leeds, the year ahead sees Buckley embark on a residency at WeLoveSpace in Ibiza, tour the US, and play in Singapore, Thailand and Egypt, as he continues on the journey that began over a decade ago. Back in the early 90s Buckley started playing for trend-setting UK clubs, Renaissance and The Hacienda - the revolutionary Manchester night run by Mike Pickering and the place where anything went.

It was here that bizarre cabaret acts worked alongside indie, northern soul, motown and house music, and where Buckley became part of the unforgettable experience felt by everyone who went. Following this Buckley was asked to guest DJ at almost every credible club in the country at that time including Ministry Of Sound, Gatecrasher, Cream, UK Midlands, and Colours and by the mid 90s found himself resident at Northern club nights Zero G in Nottingham, Pop in Manchester and Up Yer Ronson in Leeds, cementing his name on the exploding underground house scene. In 1999, Buckley turned his hand to a spot of promotion, setting up weekly residents night, Change, alongside house veteran Graeme Park. The night was welcomed by a dedicated Leeds fan base and after the duos parties came to an end Buckley was snapped up by Space club in Leeds where he remained for two years before making the move to Back2Basics. Now a well-loved resident at Basics, Buckley plays alongside some of the greatest names in underground house, many of whom have become good friends and even production partners.

Basics marked the beginning of Buckley's production experiments and since grasping the skill his releases have remained on a steady flow, in the past as The Jackford Files on Dust Trax- a project with friend and production partner Paul Woolford- and as Holy Cow on Sony. This year his plans include work on Paul Woolford's new label (name TBC) and further tracks on Jesse Roses imprint Made to Play after the storming success of Bloc Party/ The Jam on 'Made To Play' that was released in 2005, rocked the international house charts and enjoyed no less than five plays at Space closing party the same year. Buckley made his own debut at Space in Ibiza in 2004 and played twice more in 2005, since then he has become a fond favourite with the Balearic crowds and heads back this summer for a full residency. Though his schedule is full there is no question of his regular appearances at Back2Basics in Leeds, and wherever he is, its certain Buckley will remain true to his house music roots, with a humble passion and warm approach that is an inspiration to DJ's the World over.
